Today we had the amazing privilege of spending some of our grant funding with our friends at Barnes&Noble tonight. They found us such amazing deals that we were not expecting that we were able to not only buy the expected items of Ollies, STEAM littleBits, Synth littleBits, Bloxels, and Ozobots but we were able to expand into Cubelets, IQ Key, Makey Makey, Code Gamer, littleBits Gadgets&Gizmos, as well as a 3-D printer. We can not sat enough about the amazing staff at our Saginaw Barnes&Noble but especially the customer service manager Neena who not only worked with us for weeks on what to order but also took us around the store, exploring the other possibilities for hours. We love you Neena!!

We made the front page of the section. It was very nice article about what we are working on and how the Community Foundation, and especially the Janks Fund are making it all happen.
The club is excited to announce they have been chosen to receive a grant through the William and Ruth Janks Fund, a part of the Tuscola County Community Foundation. Additional robotics, computer kits, and devices will be purchased with these funds. The club plans to host a technology DIY showcase in the spring, where club members will demonstrate their coding abilities and technology skills for other students, staff, and community members.
