One of them is as a inside recess option. I soon discovered that there were some boxes that were more in demand than others and in an effort to help keep the peace, I made a few more boxes. Soon, I decided that I really wanted to have enough boxes so that each child could have their own. This made it easier to have additional, more quiet times, to use the boxes. Since they are pencil boxes, they stack easily and I am able to store them in sideways crates on my back counter. Every few months I take a look at them to see if things need to be replaced.
