Friday was a crazy mix of trying to keep things normal while racing to get things take care of for the extended time off. Since then, the world has begun to lose its mind. Humanity needs to pick itself up and act like we have some common sense. Our children are scared and need our example now. I am thinking about my students and students all over who are struggling. I knew it needed to include a reading component and that I don't like the door to be completely covered so that I can't see out. This meant that the middle area needed to include a reason why it would make sense to be open. I finally landed on using Iron Man because I could add some humor and it would make absolute sense with the character. It took a weekend to get it done but when all was said and done, it fit perfectly.
