The end of the year is always a time of mixed feelings. No one would argue that summer vacation is looked forward to with great anticipation. But along the way there are also those kids that tug at your heart. The ones that you really don't want to see go. There have been so many over the years that this year I decided I needed to do this photography project to remember them by. It took a bit to go from looking like a kidney bean to this more heart like shape but in the end, it really does express our year in a fun way that future classes will be able to see and enjoy.
Pascal has found two new friends in the Twins, Pollock and Kandinsky. You can tell the two apart because Pollock wears normal glasses, whereas Kandinsky (the evil twin) has a mask. It is interesting to see all three Ozobots racing around on a massive maze full of codes that has them often running into each other even when they don't start in anywhere near the same area. The students are excited by the idea of creating mazes for them, some of which will work and some which will not. It is all about following directions, a concept that many elementary students struggle with.
That's Elementary Explains is a teacher with almost 2 decades of teaching experience and a technology degree who is still trying to figure out the new and unexplained.
